Apathy quotes

The word “Apathy” in the most common terms is defined as the feeling of hatred among two individuals. This tells about the bitterness of the relation that exists between them. More or less, apathy is a negative term that brings out the negativity of a person in a particular respect, like absence of enthusiasm, concern, motivation and emotion in life. Apathy by and large, is less ethically excusable than ignorance of a particular fact of life. These apathy quotes highlight the state of s particular person  of not caring; not wanting to know; complacency; indifference; ignorance; his disinterest in contemplation; compassion fatigue; his being lazy; too busy; his self-indulgence; his limiting the choices in work and leisure-time; his non-reflection, non-deliberation and subconscious blocking of distressing information.

These apathy quotes bring out certain dull aspects of a person but they may also provide the effective changes that a person needs to introduce in his life in order to get rid of the feel of Apathy.

Well, people got attatched. Once you cut the umbilical cord they attatched to the other things. Sight, sound, sex, money, mirages, mothers, masturbation, murder, and Monday morning hangovers.
Charles Bukowski

Love is bullshit. Emotion is bullshit. I am a rock. A jerk. I'm an uncaring asshole and proud of it.
Chuck Palahniuk

That only a few, under any circumstances, protest against the injustice of long-established laws and customs, does not disprove the fact of the oppressions, while the satisfaction of the many, if real only proves their apathy and deeper degradation.
Elizabeth Cady Stanton

The only kind of dignity which is genuine is that which is not diminished by the indifference of others.
Dag Hammarskjold

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problems.

Is it ignorance or apathy? Hey, I don't know and I don't care.
Jimmy Buffett

So much attention is paid to the aggressive sins, such as violence and cruelty and greed with all their tragic effects, that too little attention is paid to the passive sins, such as apathy and laziness, which in the long run can have a more devastating effect.
Eleanor Roosevelt

By far the most dangerous foe we have to fight is apathy - indifference from whatever cause, not from a lack of knowledge, but from carelessness, from absorption in other pursuits, from a contempt bred of self satisfaction
William Osler

My generation's apathy. I'm disgusted with it. I'm disgusted with my own apathy too, for being spineless and not always standing up against racism, sexism and all those other -isms the counterculture has been whinning about for years.
Kurt Cobain quotes

Apathy is the glove into which evil slips its hand.
Bodie Thoene

The apathy of the people is enough to make every statue leap from its pedestal and hasten the resurrection of the dead.
