Robert Anson Heinlein was a popular and a controversial author who wrote novels about science fiction. Heinlein along with Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke earned the tag of the “Big Three” of Science Fiction. His works were based on many different themes such as radical individualism, libertarianism, religion and relationship between physical and emotional love.
He has a number of awards to his credit. He won the Hugo Awards four times for his various works and three of his works were awarded Retro Hugos. He was also awarded with the first Grandmaster Award which was given by the Science Fiction Writers of America for lifetime achievement.
