Erich Fromm, born I in the very onset of the 20th century, was multi-nationality and a multi-professional personality. He was an internationally renowned Jewish-German-American social psychologist, psychoanalyst, and humanistic philosopher. Having done his graduation from the University of Frankfurt, in the subject of Jurisprudence, he finally came to be associated with what became to be known as The Frankfurt School of Critical Theory. His main interests in life revolved around the areas of social theory and the spread of Marxism. The notable ideas that he preached help al his followers to decide and have their individual specific modes of existence.
